Your role may allow your clients to stay longer at home. You will be responsible for daily activities (ADL), such as dressing, eating, bathing and washing. You will also monitor their psychological and physical well-being and check their vital signs.

    Communication is crucial in this field. It can make or break your career if you are able to ask questions and receive honest answers. It is crucial to be a home-health aide if you know how to communicate with patients and build trusting relationships.

    These skills, along with the education required, can make it easy to land a job as an aide at home. This is a great career that can lead to many joys.
